Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains what personal information ATAQ Systems collects when you visit this site or apply for the Equipment Finance Transfer Engine, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

ATAQ Systems (“ATAQ”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at hugh@ataqsystems.ie for any privacy question or to exercise your rights.

2. What we collect

  • Contact & identity — your name, email address, and phone number, when you submit the application form.
  • Professional details — your role, firm revenue band, how your marketing is approved, current appointment channels, and the other answers you give in the application.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, clicks, and session activity. We use product-analytics tooling that can record a replay of your session on this site (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling). We do not record keystrokes in password or payment fields.
  • Advertising identifiers— cookies and click IDs (e.g. Meta’s _fbp / _fbc, the fbclid URL parameter) and campaign tags (UTMs) that let us measure which ad brought you here.

3. How we use it — and our legal basis

  • To respond to your application, assess whether we’re a fit, and book and run your strategy call — to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To follow up with you about your enquiry, including by email, phone, or text, and to keep your details on file for future relevant offers — your consent and our legitimate interest in growing our business. You can opt out at any time.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and website, including sharing conversion events with advertising platforms — your consent and our legitimate interest in effective marketing.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. The main tools are:

  • Meta Pixel & Conversions API — measures ad performance and builds audiences. Contact details we send to Meta for matching are hashed (irreversibly scrambled) before they leave our servers.
  • PostHog — product analytics, heatmaps, and session replay, used to understand and improve the page. Data is processed in the European Union.

You can block cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Meta ad personalisation in your Facebook ad preferences. Blocking cookies may affect how the site works.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Typeform — hosts the application form.
  • Calendly — schedules your strategy call.
  • Meta Platforms — advertising measurement and audiences (hashed data).
  • PostHog — website analytics and session replay.
  • Google — we store lead details in Google Sheets to manage follow-up.
  • Vercel — hosts this website.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where we transfer data outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep application and contact data for as long as we’re in touch about working together, and for up to 24 months afterwards for reactivation, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Aggregated analytics may be kept longer.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EU/UK, these rights come from the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your data and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell your data. To exercise any right, email hugh@ataqsystems.ie. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
